Taylor was drafted by the Phillies back in 2007 but was shipped twice in late 2009 after ascending the ranks of the Philadelphia farm system. Sent to Toronto in the package for Roy Halladay, he was immediately flipped to Oakland for Brett Wallace.

A beast at 6'6", 250 lbs, Taylor has power and speed and should see time in Oakland this year. Expect him to arrive no later than June, and expect him to play. When he plays, expect him to hit as evidenced by his career .898 OPS in the minor leagues.
