- OF Robbie Grossman is 6-for-17 (.353) in his first four games for the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks since coming to the Astros from the Pirates in the Wandy Rodriguez trade. He's had three multi-hit games and has stolen a base.

- 3B Matt Dominguez is batting .317/.373/.467 in 16 games for the Triple-A Oklahoma City RedHawks since being acquired from the Marlins in the Carlos Lee trade. In 60 at-bats, Dominguez has hit one home run and six doubles, while scoring 11 runs and posting a much improved .840 OPS.

- C Carlos Perez is 4-for-13 (.308) in his first four games for the Class-A+ Lancaster JetHawks since coming over from the Blue Jays in the big 10 player trade that sent LHP J.A. Happ to Toronto.

- RHP Asher Wojciechowski is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in his first two starts for the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks since being acquired from the Blue Jays in the 10 player trade. In 12 innings pitched, Wojchiechowski has struck out 11 batters while allowing seven hits and six walks.
- LHP Rob Rasmussen is 1-2 with a 7.00 ERA in four starts for the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks since coming over from the Marlins in the Carlos Lee trade. He's struck out 10 batters and issued six walks over 18 innings pitched. Outside of his July 14th start when he lasted just three innings and allowed eight hits and six earned runs, Rasmussen has pitched well for his new team.
Dominguez and Rasmussen are a steal for Carlos Lee who they basically wanted to get rid of anyway
