Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig is batting a combined .362 in his first 17 professional games, split between the AZL Dodgers and the Class-A+ Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League. He posted a ridiculous .400/.500/1.000 line with four home runs, three triples and a stolen base in nine games (30 at-bats) in the rookie-level Arizona League. Since being promoted to Rancho Cucamonga, Puig is batting .321/.424/.321 with six stolen bases in eight games (28 at-bats).

Puig is a 21-year-old, signed out of Cuba to a seven year, $42 million contract in late June.

Cubs OF Jorge Soler is batting a combined .281 through his first 23 professional games, split between the AZL Cubs and the Class-A Peoria Chiefs of the Midwest League. He batted .241/.328/.389 with two home runs, two doubles and eight stolen bases in 14 games (54 at-bats) in the rookie-level Arizona League. Since his promotiont to Peoria, Soler is batting .343/.395/.571 with two home runs, two doubles and a stolen base in nine games (35 at-bats). Soler is a 20-year-old, signed out of Cuba to a nine year, $30 million contract in early June.
